Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 12 PM to 4 PM and and race day starting at 7:00 AM at the Fort Washington fire station, 1245 Fort Washington Ave, Fort Washington, PA. Please try to pick up your packet early.
This is a rain or shine event
Parking is at the Upper Dublin High School and medical offices directly across from the fire station. Please do not park at any of the churches or synagogues (remember it's a Sunday) or on any of the streets as we will be running on them.
All races begin at 9:00 AM at the Upper Dublin High School at the Hawthorne Rd exit.
All three races begin together at the Upper Dublin High School and follow the same route until the courses split. If you reach the split for the 5k and want to try for the longer distances, you keep going. Otherwise you turn off and head for the finish line. The same thing applies to the split for the 8.8m and 8.8k. The great thing about this race is that you don't have to decide ahead of time and it costs the same no matter which distance you choose.
The finish line is at the Fort Washington fire station. There will be three separate finish line and runners cross the line that corresponds with the distance they ran.
There are four water stations located near mm 2, 3.5, 5.5 and 6.75
The finish line is inside the fire station. There are three corrals and you cross the line for the distance you ran.
* If it is wet outside, the finish lines will be moved to the parking lot. The engine room floor gets really slippery when wet and we don't want anyone wiping out.
This is an open road course. Music players, jogging strollers and pets are welcome but at your own risk.

All results will be posted at the Run the Day web site within 24 hours
Awards will be given in all distances for overall M & F and top three M & F for 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.
Special awards will be given for fastest M & F emergency responder /public safety personnel in each race
We welcome runners of all experiences and speed. Walkers are welcome for all distances, including the 8.8m. (But if the Eagles are playing at 1, we ask you to walk fast!)
KIDS FUN RUN
The kids fun run takes place in the parking lot of the fire station. Participants will start inside the station, run out the back bay, run around the station and finish back inside the station. All kids get an event shirt, a participant medal and fire safety goodie bag.
Runners who register before 10/1/18 can choose either a cotton or technical short sleeve tee shirt. Extra cotton tees will be ordered and given to late registrants during packet pickup while supplies last.
We will have several photographers at the start, finish and along the route. All photos will be posted on the Fire Company photo site (Photo88.org) and Facebook and will be available for FREE (yes, we said free) download, sharing, liking or whatever you want to do with them.
"The best post-race refreshments I've ever had at a race" is just one of the many comments we have received, and they are right. Scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, quinoa mac 'n cheese, vegetarian chili, tomato pie, breads, doughnuts, fruit, juice, etc. We have it all. And if that's not enough for you, top it all of with Czerw's Polish Kielbasa and craft beer at the beer tent.
REFUNDS, TRANSFERS AND NO-SHOWS
We understand that things happen and schedules change. We will gladly transfer your tag to another runner but sorry, no refunds. If you did not attend the race but would still like your shirt(s), email us to make arrangements to pick them up.
